¹⁷ These are the years of the life of Ishmael, ^(A)137 years; and he breathed his last and died and was ^(B)gathered to his people. ¹⁸ And they dwelt from ^(C)Havilah to ^(D)Shur which is ^[a]east of Egypt ^[b]as one goes toward Assyria; ^(E)he ^[c]settled in the face of all his brothers.
